Defeat a Democrat

In addition, perhaps a "Run on the Banks" is in order as they've paralyzed hiring in this country, have outsourced jobs and won't lend to businesses. All this with the blessing of Washington's politicians.

Today's email to Bank of America regarding our mortgage.

Dear Isela,

Bank of America
Retention Department
Simi Valley, California

We received the letter from you that Loretta had approved, then received another copy sent via Fed Ex just the other day and yesterday we received a Letter of Intent to Accelerate Payments."

Since we spoke to you last and after receiving the letter from you, we've been receiving calls from India at a rate of 4-14 times a day from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Last evening, a gentlemen from India called by the name of Sherwin and I told him that I called the BAC Home Loan number to get information about paying online or by phone. Well, it appears that the appetite for money from people who need every dollar themselves are easy prey to fees for paying online or by phone. For a payment online, BOA charges $6.00 and by phone, which I prefer since I do not like paying online due to viruses and a good chance of my information being robbed, is $15.00 if you use the automated payment recording and $20.00 if you use a human to handle the pay by phone procedure. This is deplorable and this is why, I assume, that BOA posted a 2.78 Billion Dollar profit for the 2nd quarter of this year. All the banks are doing well, buying the nation's debt and making a comfortable and less dangerous profit from it, while they continue not lending to businesses so that perhaps some jobs could be created.

Now, back to Sherwin, who I spoke to last night. The young lady that I spoke to at the BAC Home Loan Division also said that I could make the payment at a branch and there is one in West Haven, Ct. I mentioned to Sherwin that this would be the best option for us as I do not trust sending it in the mail and then it get lost and not be posted prior to the September 15th deadline. He said that he wouldn't advise paying at the branch as it would take 5 days to be posted. I just got off the phone with the manager of the bank and she said that information is rediculous, it will be posted that day with our account number, amount, etc., which is normal for any bank transaction.

The amount that you have in your letter to us shows the regular payment for July and August with late charges. Well, both India and the branch have $30.00 additional and that, I assume, can be attributed to the fact that someone came out to the house and inspected when we were not home. This also explains a neighbor of mine asking us if we have had any problems with our mail as she noticed one day a nicely dressed individual looking in our mailbox and at our mail. Her house is diagonally across the street, she is elderly and home all day and sees all and documents everything. The only person that could have done that as we've never had a problem such as that before was the inspector, who by the way was premature as the wording in the Letter of Intent to Accelerate Payments makes it sound that it would take place after September 15th, 2010.

We will pay $2,516.20 which is the amount in your letter, not the total of $2,546.20 that shows on the local banks records and India's records. This inspection and the way it was done was totally out of line in the manner that the person operated and the $30.00 is good money that maybe we can use for groceries if it's OK with BOA that we can eat sometime, we know that the new CEO, Mr. Monyihan must eat well and we should be allowed some money for the simple staples of life to continue on this long struggle to save our home and dignity, which is under attack from BOA and Washington D.C.

This email is also going to be tweeted by a friend of ours with our telephone number in bold characters as we wish to here from any and all BOA customers that have had similar experiences as we always want ot reach out to the community to help comfort them and they in return comfort us, this is something that Wall Street is not aware of nor have they been trained in it. The only people that have ever treated us well at Countrywide and BOA are Loretta and yourself and for that we deeply thank you both from the bottom of our hearts.

As far as the mailbox inicident that is not the only problem as the neighbor, who does not know that we've had trouble paying our payments the last few months also knew that, how, we don't know but we have an idea that the individual went well beyond the normal "Line of Duty" and now the entire neighborhood will probably know about it also.

Please advise on the $30.00 fee for the inspection and I am requesting it be removed as the hawk swooped in too quickly to try to take our home from us.

I am in the process of doing what many other Americans are doing, In December, I will be 62 years of age and I am applying for my social security benefits early, this is not how I planned it, I wanted to work until the age of 66 to get a decent amount and not be restricted for making extra money for part time employment but now our backs are up against the wall as everything is being thrown at us quickly and ruthlessly by the powers to be at BOA.

It seems BOA smells the blood of a wounded population and it can't satisfy it's appetite for more and more. Foreclosrues and homelessness are at astronomical proportions and it set in the other day when I learned there is a tent city in West Haven, Ct. I don't know where bu I will investigate it very shortly as I am now in this for the long run.

Any others affected by foreclosure problems of any sorr, regardess of lender, please call us at: 866-934-4232. We are currently seeking legal advice as we have a friend who is an attorney and fees at this time will be waived.

Regards and appreciation,

George Mandell
